- The Connie L. Lurie College of Education Student Success Center is dedicated to supporting undergraduate, graduate, credential, and doctoral students in the College of Education. - Success Programs:
- Educational Opportunity Program (EOP): EOP offers a community, support services, and a small grant for eligible undergraduate students at SJSU. It aims to provide resources and assistance to California residents or AB 540 students from educationally disadvantaged and low-income backgrounds.
- EOPS at the Community College: Transfer students from the California Community College system who wish to join EOP at SJSU must submit a complete EOP application. The EOPS status from community college does not transfer over, as EOP and EOPS are two different programs.
- Guardian Scholars: The Guardian Scholars Program provides holistic support services for former and current foster youth, wards of the court, unaccompanied homeless youth, and youth under legal guardianship. It assists students in navigating SJSU through access to key campus, community, and financial resources.
- Spartan East Side Promise: The Spartan East Side Promise is a partnership between SJSU and the East Side Union High School District. It aims to provide support and resources to students from the district, including book vouchers, year-round housing assistance, and scholarships.
- Transfer Success Pathway (TSP): TSP is a program designed to increase access to the California State University (CSU) system for eligible first-time, first-year students enrolling in California Community Colleges. It offers a dual admission opportunity, allowing students to commit to transferring to a CSU within three years.
